Myst, and Riven are both timeless classics. They are both amazingly immersive.

The totem things with the spiked wheel are not decorative, you just need to look at them the right way

I got an idea you got the compare and contrast the 2 riven games Then play them in order so next is exile that way you can stick them all into one Playlist called myst series People can easily go back to the pervious ones that way and make sure they missed 0 game play episodes

Last night I got the kitty update they started early but I missed 0 of it It ended up being kitty constipation probably from eating to many bugs

They did a great job with the remake. The character models fall a bit short for me however. It's hard to live up to the live action and actor's performances. That moment from the original when Catherine gets on the elevator with you and the music swells as you're descending, it's hard to compete with that level of production value.

It was great to see you genuinely work through puzzles rather than refer to walkthroughs.

What I love about this version is that it seems that each game is random. So none of your puzzles have been the same in my version.

I've been enjoying this gameplay a lot Jon, thanks for sharing with us. I've also played this new version of Riven after watching your first two videos and was able to complete it, I did not the 1997 version though, I have it on the Sega Saturn but never finished it. One thing about the Star Fissure was puzzle that stumped you but that I actually got it right away was the translation of the number symbols. I saw you were trying to calculate the moiety numbers, adding the little symbols or multiplying them, but what happened to me was that when I saw those symbols I remembered the totems in the islands, you actually rotated them to find the correct position so, from there I figured you would also rotate what few symbols you had in that paper and make sense of it. Hoping to see more of this type of games! Thank you Jon.

Anna is Gehn's mom (Atrus's grandmother) and is human, and how humans as a whole first got involved with the whole plot of Myst. She discovered them all below the surface. We've never seen her face or voice until now, previously she was only known as the protagonist in the novels. The guy in the imager was his father (those recordings are quite old), and the initial girl speaking D'ni was Gehn's wife (Atrus's mom)
